Many years ago (at least 15) I went on a trip to the island of St. Maarten/St. Martin down in the Caribbean. One of my companions was my friend Carl. Somewhere on that trip he started using the term "adequate" to describe the truly outstanding things we were experiencing on that trip. The grilled lobster was adequate. The sunsets were adequate. The rum was adequate. It caught on. Adequate in my vocabulary has come to mean those things that have become classics for me. In that vein, I intend to use this blog to share some adequate experiences. I hope you enjoy them.
